TAS::97 051::TAS RECOVERYPROJECT#71653::RP# HOSPITAL REPLACEMENT, CAMP PENDLETON, CA, PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS(S) UNDER: N62470-09-D-9044, HDR ARCHITECTURE INC., 703-518-8697. Summary of Project Scope: Original architect-engineer task order was to provide a Design-Build Request for Proposal (RFP) document for a multi-story (approximately 511,000 gross SF) Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton (HRCP), California and a multi-level parking structure for approximately 1,500 cars, surface parking and associated development of access roads at the US Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, Ca. This pre-solicitation notice is for an in-scope modification that is in compliance with the terms and conditions of the contract. Modification is to provide three studies: (1) analyze and provide recommendation for Specialty Lighting for the interior and surrounding exterior of the new hospital, (2) analyze and determine IT/Communication Infrastructure scope of work to serve Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton only and to develop a Design Build Six-part RFP based on the determined scope, and (3) analyze potential enhancements to the current Heating Ventilation and Air Condition (HVAC) and electrical systems designs for the Hospital Replacement Camp Pendleton (HRCP) and study will propose enhancements to be incorporated into the Request for Proposal (RFP) as options or betterments to the design-build contractor's base bid. Anticipated modification value is $216,464.47.
