- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management has awarded the subject award to Premier Data Services. Blanket Purchase Agreement L10PA00578 was utilized to award this requirement. Below is a description of the requirement. Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009, the Nevada BLM has been tasked with ensuring accuracy of the attributes of digital land records. The geographic location of the identified renewable energy townships is primarily in areas having the potential for renewable energy in support of the current administrations energy priorities and in the transmission of that energy. This project will inventory, validate and verify BLM public land records by comparing the automated LR2000 data against the manual public records for approximately 1,700 townships in the State of Nevada. The vendor will validate all pending and authorized renewable energy cases. Compare case legal land descriptions against the manual public land records (Master Title Plats, Use Plats, Historical Index and Controlled Document Index, case file) to assure data contained in LR2000 accurately and precisely reflect the official records in accordance with standards. In addition, assure all locations can map in GIS and identify any cases that are not on public domain open to renewable energy development. Validate existing public land records and LR2000 data that impact renewable energy development. Ensure that all title and use cases are accurately noted on the manual records and the corresponding LR2000 cases are validated. Validate the reserved federal subsurface mineral ownership on split estate lands this will include approximately 1,700 townships. Develop township plots that spatially display cases that have been validated. This will allow for a visual inspection of validated data and will confirm the cases ability to map properly.
