Description

RECOVERY - NACE, PMIS # 076961, TAS 14 1035, Repair Iron Fencing in Marion Park The work of this contract comprises the removal of existing black ornamental steel fence and replacement of the fence with a new black ornamental steel fence located at E Street, S.E. and South Carolina Avenue, S.E., between 4th and 6th Streets, S.E., Washington D.C. in Marion Park, National Capital Parks-East, Washington, D.C. for the National Park Service, National Capital Region. Major work items include removal of existing ornamental metal fence, posts, gates and concrete footings followed by the installation of a new ornamental steel fence, posts, footings and gates. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238990 with a small business size standard of 14 million of annual average gross revenues of the total concern for the last 3 fiscal years. This project is being solicited and awarded in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656. (Federal Acquisition Regulation 19.10) Accordingly, it is open to all small and large responsible offerors. However, a HUBZone small business price evaluation factor will apply. The project magnitude is estimated to be between $200,000-$300,000. The solicitation with specifications, drawings, and wage rates will be posted to the websites http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about 04/14/2010. TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. No hard copies of the solicitation package will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package you must download it from http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Contractors must register on the website in order to retrieve copies of the solicitation and any possible amendments. Instructions are contained on the website for downloading solicitation and attachments. It is the responsibility of all interested contractors to acknowledge ALL amendments to the solicitation. To download the solicitation all interested offerers must have a DUNS number. To receive a DUNS number please contact Dun & Bradstreet at 1-800-333-0505. All responses will be delivered by express mail or hand carried by 2:00 PM EST, 05/13/2010. Proposal due date is approximate; actual date will be established at the time solicitation documents are available. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the Government. This project will be funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and is subject to the reporting requirements of the Act.
