- Description
- This is a requirement for the overhaul of the B-52 Rotary Pump. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish repair, test, packing, preservation and packaging of the B-52 Rotary Pump. A firm fixed price requirements type contract is contemplated. The contract period will be one year with four one-year options. The items and quantities are as follows: Item 0001: Overhaul NSN 4320-00-691-8601HS, P/N 50444; Applicable to B-52 aircraft; Basic Year Quantity, 30 each; Option I Year Quantity, 30 each; Option II Year Quantity, 30 each; Option III Year Quantity, 30 each; Option IV Year Quantity, 30 each. Item 0002 Over and Above Work; Item 0003 Data IAW DD1423s. Deliveries are to be in accordance with instructions received from the Production Management Specialist prior to shipment(s): on or before 5 each per month beginning 30 days ARO the later of reparable item or funded order. Award will be based on meeting our requirements and cannot be delayed pending qualifications of additional sources. 100% small business set-aside. APPROVED SMALL BUSINESS SOURCES are GT Enterprises (0NTS5) and Airtronics (58078). The approximate solicitation issue date will be 13 Apr 2010 closing 13 May 2010. PR number is FD2030-10-26798. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
