Description

RECOVERY THIS NOTICE IF PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. This opportunity is only available to the Region 7 Construction for Roofing Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contractors. The current Statement of Work (SOW) defines this as a Design Build effort. This effort will combine design and construction, with the construction contractor utilizing the skills of a Roofing Architectural Engineering firm. The building, an historic Federal Building (FB) is located at 421 Gold Ave SW, Albuquerque, NM. The purpose of this project is to completely remove the current low slope built up roof system on the FB and replace it with a more energy efficient Energy Star Roof, restore the existing cupola, restore the existing clay tile roof system, and fully restore deteriorated and damaged components associated with the exterior façade (windows, stone, terra cotta, etc.). Restoration and upgrade will result in a more energy efficient system and mitigate the possibility of damage to the interiors. The resulting Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued to the contractors having already been awarded competed Roofing Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts.
