Description

A. SCOPE OF CONTRACT It is the objective of this contract to obtain high quality services to ensure adequate fuel reduction across the site. The Contractor shall perform this work in compliance with all terms, specifications, and provisions of this Contract. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government-furnished), and incidentals necessary to perform fuel reduction services on the designated areas. Place of Performance

Address: B. LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION, The project consists of fuel reduction using machinery on the Palouse Ranger District of the Clearwater National Forest. The project site is located northeast of Potlatch, ID. Subitem 1.1 (T43N, R3E, Sec 8) is located South and East of Sanders along FR1981 behind a gate off of FR1976. The western corner of the unit begins approximately less than ½ mile behind the FR1976 gate. Unit is approximately 55 acres in size. See map in Section N, Attachments, for detailed location information. Access to unit is made by following these directions. Travel highway 6 to Palouse Divide on the White Pine Scenic Drive. Turn west off of the highway onto FR377, drive this road to the west until the junction of FR 377 and FR 1976 approximately 4 miles. Turn right onto FR1976 and travel approximately ½ mile to junction of FR1976 and FR 1981. Turn left onto FR 1981, this is a gated road the project site is located along., Potlatch, Idaho, 83855, United States
