- Department of Justice Information Technology Security Document Title: This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) for Transcription Services Solicitation#: DOJ-OIG-10-0001 Post Date: 03/29/2010 Response Date: Document Type: NAICS Code: 561410- Transcription Services Description: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL This Request for Information (RFI) is in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.215-3 (Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes-Oct 1997). The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Your response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. The Department of Justice Office, of the Inspector General (OIG) is seeking information in relation to qualified sources to provide transcription services to the OIG. All interested, capable, and responsible sources must comply with DOJ Order 2640.2F: DOJ Order 2640.2F (attached) requires that when the contract requires or allows contractor IT systems to be used, whether to access Component or Department IT systems and /or information or to process or store Component or Department information, the contract shall require the contractor IT systems to be certified, accredited and operated pursuant to a valid Authority to Operate (ATO). The ATO shall be issued by a Component Authorizing Official based on this policy. If the contractor utilizes its own internal Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process it must submit the C@A package to the Component Authorizing Official. If the Component Authorizing Official determines the C@A process meets the Department standards, he or she may issue an ATO based on the package. Contractors using individual devices under the contract shall provide the designated person an inventory of such devices and shall operate such devices pursuant to this policy, including all incident response requirements. Contractors and contractor systems shall be subject to the same Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) data calls as other DOJ systems. Upon termination of contract work, all DOJ information shall be removed from contractor owned IT equipment. Certification of data removal shall be performed by the contract's project manager and a letter confirming certification shall be delivered to the Contracting Officer within 15 working days of the termination of the contract.
