Description

Fuel Management Program Wage Determination CDS Terms and Conditions SOL 300-75-10 The primary function of this service is the delivery and acceptance of Express Mail. Other mail, at the discretion of Postal Management, may be assigned for delivery. ALL EXPRESS MAIL ASSIGNED FOR DELIVERY MUST BE DELIVERED OR AN ATTEMPTED DELIVERY MUST BE MADE PRIOR TO 3:00 PM DAILY TO MEET THE POSTAL SERVICES' DELIVERY STANDARD FOR EXPRESS MAIL. The supplier will operate a maximum of 61.8 miles per day at the annual rate stated within the contract. Any and all documented miles in excess of 61.8 miles per day will be compensated at the rate of $1.50 per mile. Offerors must provide a vehicle: Passenger Car with at least 40 cubic feet of useable space. The minimum insurance requirements are: $100,000 per person, $500,000 per accident, and $100,000 property damage, or a combined single limit policy of $600,000. Bid proposals must be mailed and received at address below by April 30, 2010 3:00PM central time: ATTN: Solicitation 300-75-10 Southern Transportation CMT 225 N Humphreys Blvd Ste 4126 Memphis, TN 38166-7071 FAXED OR EMAILED PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED The supplier should INCLUDE THE REQUIRED NUMBER OF FUEL GALLONS, THE COST PER GALLON, AND THE TOTAL COST FOR FUEL to be purchased on line 6 (fuel) of Form 7468A, Highway Transportation Contract – Bid or Renewal Worksheet. Fuel will be adjusted in accordance with the Fuel Management Program (see the enclosed Fuel Management Program document dated December 2009). The solicitation may require a supplier to submit with their proposal information that was not previously requested in advance of the closing date. The vendor must carefully review Section D.1.2 of the CDS Terms and Conditions (February 18, 2010) for information to be provided. Your bid must include all operational, labor, and miscellaneous expenses that you expect to incur pertaining to this contract. Such expenses may include (but are not limited to): Driver/Drug Screening Maintenance of equipment (e.g., oil, tires, vehicle repair) Salary Profit The Postal Service reserves the right to award this solicited service with or without discussions.
