- MARKET SURVEY CAPABILITY ASSESSMENT FOR THE CBP MOBILE TOWER SYSTEM PARTS This is a market survey for the Mobile Tower System, part numbers listed below, for Customs and Border Patrol: 7608AD2012DN / NSN 5985-01-575-1399 7832MC-12B / NSN 5998-01-575-1413 7832MC-12C / NSN 5998-01-575-1417 7832S50-02 / NSN 6130-01-575-1420 7832S50-03 / NSN 6130-01-575-1424 Currently, the only known source for these units are through Spectrum Controls, Inc, State College, PA. The FAA does not have drawings or specifications for this item. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting proposals at this time. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms, capable of providing the Mobile Tower System, part numbers: 7608AD2012DN / NSN 5985-01-575-1399 7832MC-12B / NSN 5998-01-575-1413 7832MC-12C / NSN 5998-01-575-1417 7832S50-02 / NSN 6130-01-575-1420 7832S50-03 / NSN 6130-01-575-1424 This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. In order to make this determination the FAA requires the following from interested vendors: 1. Capability Statement - This document should identify: Type of services provided by your firm, Size and type of services provided by previous contracts (elaborate and provide detailed information and past performance), Number of years in business Please respond by submitting a filled-out and signed copy of the Declaration form (please submit electronically, email to address below). All responses to this market survey must be received by Tuesday, April 6, 2010, 3:00 CDT. All submittals should be submitted by email to: barbara.smith@faa.gov. All responses must reference AC102002 in the subject line.
