Description

RECOVERY "Rehabilitate Historic Meriwether Lewis Site", NATR 48183, TAS 14-1041, NAICS Code: 221122, "This project will be funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and is subject to the reporting requirements of the Act" The National Park Service is issuing this special notice to inform industry of the intent to solicit and negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements) with Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative, Inc., Centerville, TN. This requirement is for the replacement of the overhead electric distribution line with an underground electric distribution line at the Meriwether Lewis Monument within the Natchez Trace Parkway, 189 Meriwether Lewis Park, Hohenwald, TN 38462. A determination not to compete this proposed contract has been made pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as implemented by 6.302-1, this requirement has been justified and approved in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304. All inquires and concerns must be addressed in writing via mail to Colina Rivetts, National Park Service, P.O. Box 25287, MS-WCP, Denver, CO 80225 or by email to colina_rivetts@nps.gov. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous the Government.
