- The U.S. Government is seeking to lease approximately 12,311 Rentable Square Feet of flex office and warehouse space yielding a minimum of 8,800 USF of warehouse space and 2,925 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet of contiguous office and related space in Des Moines, IA Contracting Office Address: General Services Administration, Public Building Service, East Leasing Services Branch, (6PEL) 1500 E. Bannister Rd, Kansas City MO 64131 REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Government is seeking to lease approximately 12,311 Rentable Square Feet of flex office and warehouse space yielding a minimum of 8,880 USF of warehouse space and 2,925 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet of contiguous office and related space in Des Moines, IA. Requested space must be fully-serviced and in a building that can be customized to meet the Government's needs and security requirements. The building must meet Federal Government standards for fire and seismic safety, must be ADA compliant and be located outside a 100-year floodplain. All services, supplies, utilities, partitioning and tenant alterations are desired as part of the rental consideration. Space offered must have potential for efficient layout and be ready for occupancy by April 1, 2011. Brokers or agents may represent the prospective landlord, but any properties or proposals submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence that they are authorized to represent the building's ownership. There must be a minimum of 11 employee/customer parking spaces on-site. The warehouse space must contain a minimum of one adjustable loading dock. The offered space must also have convenient accessibility to a major highway or thoroughfare. TENANT: US Department of Agriculture (USDA) DELINEATED AREA: Space must be located within the City Limits of Des Moines, IA, West Des Moines, IA or Urbandale, IA, LEASE TERM: Lease term is ten (10) years with a firm term of five (5) years.
