Description
RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): MCC Construction;Shaw Environmental; The Ross Group; W9126G-06-D-0041; 06-D-0042; and 06-D-0043, respectively The Tulsa District, US Army Corps of Engineers has awarded the subject project with American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds of 2009. This project requires renovation of Building 730 at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. The building is a three story, 118,010 square foot building. As the renovation takes place, students within Snow Hall (Building 730) will necessarily be displaced and relocated to other classroom facilities on Fort Sill to ensure uninterrupted instruction. Instruction must continue throughout the renovation period and installation limitations on the capacity to absorb displaced students dictate a phased approach. Major elements of this project include: - Evaluate existing classrooms (in Snow Hall) electrically, mechanically (HVAC), and in regard to connectivity (telephone/data). - Renovate classrooms in preparation for reception of future Classroom XXI (CR XXI) packages/suites. - Renovate hallways, staircases, and display area. - Renovate latrines. Accomodate a male/female ratio that is approximately 60 percent amle and 40 percent female. - Achieve proper temperature regulation in the CR XXI computer server room.
