- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, desires to lease sufficient rentable square footage to yield approximately 2,500 and 3,500 net usable square feet of general office and medical space. VA is conducting a competition for space and will locate the clinic in the most advantageous location for the Government. Space must have a minimum of 2 restrooms, and minimum of one room/office with sink to be utilized as an exam room. Space must be continuous to one floor, and must have convenient access from main thoroughfare with a minimum of 15 on-site parking spaces, 2 of which must be handicapped accessible. All rentable space must be handicapped accessible in accordance with the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards (41 CFR 101-19.6, App. A). Rental term will be firm 5 years with five one-year options for renewal. Occupancy is requested by September 30, 2010.To be considered the property space should be in the Selma, AL area within the delineated area is defined as: North boundary: Alabama Highway 80 West boundary: Alabama Highway 219 South boundary: Alabama Highway 22 East boundary: Lapsley Street Offers must provide evidence that properties are outside the 100 year flood plain. VA staff will conduct a market survey of properties offered for lease. Please provide the following in your package: 1) Site location (physical location of property); 2) Property description; 3) Total square footage; 4) Site condition; 5) Floor plans; 6) Pictures if available. Interested offerors (owners, brokers or their legal representatives) should submit specific information concerning their properties to Tommy L.
