- The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Installations-East (MCIEAST), Camp Lejeune, NC has a requirement to procure Animal Control Boxes to be attached to the chassis of six (6) each Ford F550 trucks for the K9 unit of II Marine Expeditionary Force ( MEF), Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune, NC. The resulting award will be a firm-fixed price contract to the successful quoter. Solicitation and award of this contract will use Simplified Acquisition Procedures, in accordance with FAR subpart 13.5. The proposed acquisition is 100% Set-aside for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 336211, and the size standard is 1000 employees. Request for Quote (RFQ) M67001-10-Q-0077 to provide this supply will be issued on or around 06 April 2010. Award will be made to the responsible quoter whose quote represents the lowest price, technically acceptable offer (LPTA), with at least a satisfactory record of past performance. Award will be issued on an all or none basis. This requirement is for the purchase and installation of six (6) truck body kennels for the transportation of military working dogs for K9 unit of II MEF, MCB Camp Lejeune, NC. The contractor shall provide transportation for six (6) Ford 550 truck cab/chassis from the Government's location to the contractor's installation site and shall return the vehicles to the Government upon completion of installation. Additionally, the contractor shall sign for the Government license plates as a sensitive item that must remain affixed to the vehicles at all times (Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Report required if lost, stolen, or missing). The contractor assumes all liability for vehicles until such time as they are delivered, inspected and accepted for delivery at Camp Lejeune, NC.
