Description

SCOPE: This project shall entail removal of existing culvert at the Ant Basin Creek crossing plus the Twin Fort Creek crossing on the Smokey Boulder Road (50074). Install a new culvert at the same locations. Work will include, but not be limited to: Remove and dispose of existing pipe, set and maintain survey control staking, submittal of an Erosion Control Plan which shows a stream diversion plan; Setting and placing precast concrete footings and the arch culvert; Placement of stream simulation rock to construct a natural stream channel; Backfill; Placement of aggregate survacing on the new road, etc. PROJECT LOCATION: Drive North on Hwy 95 frin New Meadows for 11 miles. Turn left onto FSR 50074 and drive for approximately 11 miles to the Ant Basin Creek crossing. The Twin Fork crossing is approximately two miles past the Ant Basin Creek crossing. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. ESTIMATED START DATE: May 24, 2010. The contract time is as follows: All instream work and culvert installation must be completed by August 15, 2010. All other work such as aggregate placement and cleanup must be completed by August 23, 2010.
