- Notice of Intent to award to a Sole Source The U.S. Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) intends to award a contract sole-source basis under the statutory authority permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition 10 U.S.C.2304(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements to Xerox Corporation, 1301 K Street NW, Suite 300, Washington, D.C. 20012 This requirement is for a copiers that can handle document management, printing, scanning, and copying/reproduction. It also includes on-site technical support staff capable of monitoring the functionality, supply levels, and collection of data for billing and budgeting. This must be accomplished in compliance with the National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) common criteria validation pursuant to DoD Directive 8500.1 and National Security Telecommunications and Information Systems Security Policy (NSTISSP) Number 11 regarding all information assurance (IA) or IA-enabled information technology hardware, firmware, and software components/products. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government in the future. Interested parties may identify their capabilities by responding to this requirement, no later than 1:00 pm EST, 29 Mar 2010. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's bona fide capability to provide these items. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses may be submitted via email to patti.rivera1@us.army.mil if the total file size is less than 5 pages. Capabilities statements will be maintained for future reference.
