Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation number N00167-10-T-0052 applies and is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement to refurbish or replace a24' water Tunnel Impeller Motor per the attached statement of work. Award will be conducted on a competitive basis using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedure The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 335312. The Small Business Administration size standard is 1000. A firm-fixed price purchase order is anticipated under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award.Offers may be submitted on the SF 1449, letterhead stationery, or as otherwise specified in the solicitation. As a minimum an offer must include the following information: The solicitation number; the time specified in the solicitation for receipt of offers; the name, address, and telephone number of the offeror; a technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation. This may include product literature, or other documents, if necessary; terms of any express warranty; Price and any discount terms; 'Remit to' address, if different than mailing address; a completed copy of the representations and certifications at FAR 52.212-3 ALT I and 252.212-7000; acknowledgment of solicitation amendments. If the offer is not submitted on the SF 1449, include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions included in the solicitation. Offers that fail to furnish required representations or information, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation may be excluded from consideration. All responses must be received by 15 April 2010 at 12:00 pm local time and shall reference the Request for Quote (RFQ) number N00167-10-T-0052.
