Description
The proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Interested companies shall respond to this notice by providing the following information: 1) Company Name, 2) Address, 3) Point of Contact information with telephone number and email address, 4) Cage Code, 5) Capabilities information/statement showing that the company has the ability to fulfill the Government requirement as described herein. The contractor shall be able to comply with all requirements described herein to be considered capable. This notice of intent to award a sole source is NOT a request for competitive proposals. The NAICS code is 237990. SIC code is 1600. The size standard is $33.5 million. The Government requirement is to modify the existing IDIQ contract to increase the available contract capacity by $500,000.00. The contractor shall furnish construction equipment, supplies and operators to perform tasks to open the recreation parks that are closed for the winter months to make the parks safe for public use. These tasks include installing culverts, hot mix asphalt, concrete pavement, welding services, sewer line installation in rock, water valves, water line installation, road, boring, septic tank installation, electrical lines direct burial, pipe fence, wire fence, gates, tree removal, preventive maintenance and emergency clean up due to flooding and severe weather on the Prime Facilities of the recreation parks of Aquilla, Whitney, Proctor, Hords Creek and O C Fisher Lakes at the Three Rivers Region in Central Texas. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
