- SOW RFQ This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The office of NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Alaska Fisheries Science Center located in Seattle, WA has a requirement for a commercial fishing vessel will be chartered for a total of 15 days broken into two separate charter periods. The first charter period will begin on April 15, 2010 and will end on June 30, 2010. The second charter period will begin on October 1, 2010 and end on December 15, 2011. See detailed statement of work for a complete description of services and vessel requirements. The Government intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract with the period of performance commencing approximately from date of award through Dec 15, 2011 with no option periods. The NAICS code for this procurement is 487210 with a corresponding size standard of $7.0M. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within fifteen (15) calendar days of its publication.
