- Description
- The title of this procurement has changed. It was previously titled Temporary Support Services. The description of the duties and responsibilities of the Contract Line Items (CLINs) contained in the solicitation, will be included in an upcoming amendment to the solicitation. This is a brand new requirement for DoDEA Pacific. There is no previous contract for this requirement issued by the DoDEA Pacific contracting office. The winning contractor may recruit employees from the military bases in or around the intended job site. The contractor will be given from 60 to 90 days advance notice, depending on the criticality or urgency of the need, whenever a requirement is ordered against the contract. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DODEA) Pacific Procurement Division intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for temporary administrative/clerical support services within Okinawa, mainland Japan, South Korea, and Guam. The CLINs for this requirement are as follows: CLIN 0001 - General Office Clerk, CLIN 0002 - Administrative/Management Assistant, CLIN 0003 - Technical Support, and CLIN 0004 - Student Transportation Office Support. Each delivery order placed against the IDIQ will specify the type of support needed (by CLIN) as well as the duration and performance location of the Government's requirement(s). The contract term is for one base year with four one-year optional periods of performance. A solicitation (Request for Proposal) containing a more specific description of the Government's requirement, provisions, clauses, terms and conditions, and a description of submittal requirements for prospective offerors will be issued and posted on FedBizOpps around 19 March 2010. Please do not submit any questions or proposals at this time. This is strictly a pre-solicitation notice to inform industry of a future requirement.
