Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 9 has a requirement for on-going facilities construction, alterations and repair of buildings, structures and other real property throughout VISN 9. The intent of the project is to award Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC) via multiple award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite Quantity general construction contracts which will include the following medical facilities in VISN 9: Louisville VA Medical Center,Lexington VA Medical Center-Cooper Division, Lexington VA Medical Center-Leestown Division,Huntington VA Medical Center, Memphis VA Medical Center, James H. Quillen VA Medical Center and the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System. The type of work to be performed will be General Construction. NAICS code 236220 is applicable to this project and the size standard is $33.5M. This project will be procured pursuant to FAR Part 15 and FAR Part 36. Additional information regarding the specifics of the Source Selection Process and Technique will be available at such time that the solicitation is released. The resulting contracts will not have fixed unit costs. All contract work will be completed through individual task orders awarded for individual projects throughout the locations listed above in VISN 9. Contract awardees shall compete for Task Orders as projects are identified in their respective localities over the life of the respective contract. Each task order will be priced individually and will include its own wage determination. These task orders will be competed among the successful awardees. The term of the IDIQ Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) will be a two year base period from the date of award, with three (3) one (1) year options to extend. This procurement will be set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses pursuant to 38 U.S.C section 8127(d). VISN 9 intends to award six (6) contracts in each of the following localities: Louisville, Kentucky; Lexington, Kentucky; Huntington,West Virginia; Memphis, Tennessee; Mountain Home,Tennessee and Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Two levels of awards will be made. Level I: Emerging Small SDVOSB-individual task orders under this level will have a dollar range between $2,000.00-$100,000.00. Level II: SDVOSB-individual task orders under this level will have a dollar range between $100,001.00-$2,000,000.00. Each awarded Contractor will be guaranteed a minimum of $1,000.00. Specifications and plans will be available for download from the Federal Business Opportunites website at www.fbo.gov on or before April 1, 2010.
