- Description
- Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL), a Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) operated by Princeton University under contract to the U.S. Department of Energy, is announcing its intent to issue a sole-source acquisition to Rocoil Rogowski Coils Limited, 5, Almsford Avenue, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, HG2 8HD, England. The items being procured are as follows: 4 each Model 1112 flexible Rogowski coil, 500 mm length, screw-together ends, standard cross-section, screened; 2 each Model 1112 flexible Rogowski coil, 500 mm length, screened, PUSH-together ends, standard cross-section; 1 each Model 7341/SUM three-channel, four standard ranges, integrator; 4 each Model DINAC2 DIN rail mounted integrator, dual input, AC output waveform representing current waveform; and 1 each Model DINAC/REM DIN rail mounted integrator, 4 remote-selectable sensitivities. nits or as a single unit. These units will be installed in the Ohmic Power Suopply of the Lithium Tokamak Experiment (LTX) at PPPL. It is intended that these units be identical in operational characteristics and quality to those Rocoil units previously installed in the LTX experiment. This action is identified as Solicitation No. PPPL03222010. NAICS Code 334416 applies. The SBA size standard is 500 employees. No written RFP will be issued. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, or submit proposals. Any responses received by the designated response date will be considered by PPPL. A determination by PPPL not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of PPPL. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
