Description
This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-10-Q-2109. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-27. NAICS Code is 334418. Size standard is 500. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: CLIN 0001 - 6U VME single board computer, CLIN 0002 - conduction cooled lab board, CLIN 0003 - Level 4 conduction cooled board, CLIN 0004 - GPU Development station, CLIN 0005 - P2 Rear transition station, CLIN 0006 - PPC2A/4/4A/4B P2 Paddle Card. A number of specific hardware and software products suitable for integration in future heavyweight and lightweight torpedo systems have been identified for further study. It is therefore necessary to purchase a sample of these products for integration and test in a lab environment. Only the products offered by GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms meet the minimum test and evaluation requirements necessary for integration and assessment for the Open Architecture program. All other timely offers will be considered. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items applies. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, and DFARS 52.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items apply.
