Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) Q7185100194. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect through the current FAC and are available in full text through internet access at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantages, veteran and women owned buisness enterprises. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237310 with a size standard of $33.5 million. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quotation which will be considered by the National Park Service. QUOTES ARE DUE for this combined synopsis/solicitation on April 13, 2010 at 4:30 PM (MDST) and shall be delivered by the specified time to the National Park Service, 3225 National Parks Highway, Carlsbad, NM 88220, ATTN: Carole Bryant, Contract Specialist. Quotes may be faxed to 575-885-4557 or emailed to carole_bryant@nps.gov. Oral quotations will not be accepted. Quoters must provide their company name, DUN's Number, address, phone and fax numbers, email address and official point of contact. All quotes must be signed by authorized company official and dated. Questions regarding this combined synopsis/solicitation should be emailed to carole_bryant@nps.gov. No telephone questions accepted. Any award resulting from this solicitation will be a Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. REQUIREMENT:The National Park Service has a requirement for 140 tons of Natural Pave XL Resin Pavement Pre-Mixed or equivalent. The material will be bagged and on pallets with water resistant covers and each bag will not exceed one ton. The National Park Service will need bags delivered to Guadalupe Mountains National Park, Texas.
