Description
COMBINED SYNOPSIS - SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS (IAW FAR 12.603 (c)) The purpose of this modification is to change the response time from 22 Mar 10 to 26 Mar 10. The purpose of this modification is to revise paragraph (v) and add new revised Statement of Work dated 15 Mar 10. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The potential award as a result of this solicitation will be a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). (ii) This solicitation/synopsis reference number is FA4418CRANES and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-38. (iv) This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 532490 with a size standard of $7,000,000.00. (v) Interested contractors are invited to submit a quote for rental of a crane with and without an operator on the attached request for quotation form. The crane shall have a minimum lifting capacity of 7 ½ tons, maximum vertical "working" height of 60 feet, wheeled, maximum radius of 50 feet, maximum weight not to exceed 10,000 lbs., and the contractor shall be able to respond within a maximum response time of 2 hours. The successful contractor shall provide the following: All applicable load charts for the crane, proof of the last inspection and load tests with passing results for verification, and verifiable credentials and qualifications of the operator. (vi) This award will be made in the form of a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with a 5-year period of performance. (vii) The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and will remain in full force in any resultant award: (full text of clauses and provisions may be accessed electronically at this website: http://farsite.hill.af.mil) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial (viii) FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items Evaluation. The Government will award a BPA resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price considered. Please use the attached Request for Quotation form to submit pricing. (ix) All offerors shall include a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications--Commercial Item or complete electronic annual representations and certifications at http//orca.bpn.gov. (x) Contact the Contract Specialist listed in paragraph (xii) of this document to obtain a copy of the Terms and Conditions which will be incorporated into the resulting BPA.
