(Subject Continued) (FAS), PROJECT NUMBER 35873, Bldgs 59, 60, 700, 3164, 6011, 6036 repair/replace All Life Safety Systems ( Postwide) Fort Sill, Oklahoma RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): MCC Construction;Shaw Environmental;The Ross Group;W9126G-06-D-0041;D-0042;D-0043, respectively As part of Operation and Maintenance, Army, Recovery Act, the following projects have been awarded to complete a variety of mechanical work at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, as described below. Project Number 22374, Bldg 3040 Central Plant Mechanical Equipment. This project is a design build project to replace the existing 350 ton centrifugal chiller and cooling tower at Building 3040 with a new high efficiency chiller and cooling tower. The contractor shall provide all engineering design, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform this work. Project Number 35873, Bldgs 59, 60, 700, 3164, 6011, 6036 repair/replace All Life Safety Systems (Postwide). The purpose of this project is to replace existing fire alarm panels, install new fire alarm panels, and install/modify fire sprinkler systems in multiple facilities at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Project Number 29956, Building 730 Central Heating and Cooling Distribution System (FAS). This project is a design build project to replace the existing heating and cooling distribution tunnel piping from Building 730 to Buildings 700, 707, and 840 on Fort Sill. Project Number 22561, Building 730 Repair Central Plant Mechanical Equipment. This project is a design build project to winterize and repair the existing cooling tower. In addition, the contractor shall install a 500 ton serviceable plate and frame heat exchanger to provide free cooling for Building 730. The heat exchanger shall be installed in a side car type configuration that will allow the existing 400 ton chiller to run in addition to the heat exchanger. This arrangement may require an additional pipe run from the tower basin (up stream of the existing condenser water by-pass) to the heat exchangers in order to obtain the coldest tower water.
