- Description
- Vendor Questions: 1. What time on 03/26/10 is the proposal due? Answer: The proposals are due by Close of Business (COB) which is 4:00 pm. 2. Is there a page limit for the proposal? Answer: Please limit proposals to no more than 30 pages not including cover page. 3. Separate volumes? Answer: The proposal is to be submitted in one volume. 4. How many events does the MEARNG plan to conduct per year? How many days will each event last? Answer: We typically would will have about 14 weekend days. Most are sat and Sunday, approx. 4 would be one day only. 5. How many Soldiers will be anticipated at each event? Can demographic information be provided before the proposal due date? Answer: 100 soldiers per day. Demographic info ahead of time would not be necessary. Although if someone from their staff is available and understands the process, we could hire the person to pre-scrub the records. Usually a RN level. - wish I could talk to them about the PHA process before hand. 6. In the solicitation combined synopsis it states, "In accordance with the Statement of Work, the contractor shall provide, in a fixed or mobile setting, all management, labor, material, equipment, certifications and supplies necessary to provide Medical services, dental examinations, dental treatments, health and dental record updating, MEDPROS and DENCLASS updating." - Will the MEARNG provide space in the Togus VA Hospital and Armories to conduct medical services OR is the contractor supposed to provide a mobile service (RV, trailer, etc.)? Answer: Yes, togus or armory will be provided - Under SOW #9, Contractor Furnished Equipment it only lists a stethoscope. This contradicts question #6 above. Is the contractor supposed to provide all medical consumable supplies as well as office supplies? Answer: Contractor does not need to provide consumables. Most providers like to bring their own stethoscope, but we can provide one. 7. Are the contracted medical personnel supposed to only update the ePHA module of MODS (to include issuing PULHES and signing the ePHA) with the MEDPROS data input being conducted by the MEARNG MEDCOM? Answer: If the state surgeon feels confident in the provider's aptitude, he/she may be asked to assign PULHES, issue profile and sign the ePHA 8. Will the MEARNG sponsor contractor medical personnel for all applicable MODS modules and CAC upon award BEFORE any medical events? Answer: If I understand the question correctly, the contractee (myself) will sponsor the contractor providers in MODS, CAC, AKO before medical events. This is usually done about 2 weeks before the event. Important for the contract provider to bring two forms of identification, proof of citizenship and credentials to this portion. They will be good for 1 year.
