- RECOVERY-VA Medical Center, Fargo, North Dakota is seeking potential firms that have the capability for Project 437-09-153, Renovate Inpatient Pharmacy. Contract completion is 450 calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business(SDVOSB) contractors. Estimated dollar value is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $33.5 million. A 20% bid bond is required at submission of bids. Performance and Payment bonds will be required within 10 calendar days of contract award. To be eligible for award, SDVOSB must be registered and verified in the following sites: www.vetbiz.gov, www.orca.bpn.gov and www.ccr.gov. Provide all labor, material, equipment, etc necessary to renovate existing space in the basement of the Fargo VA Medical Center under project 437-09-153, Inpatient Pharmacy in accordance with the contract documents. Work shall include, but shall not be limited to: demolition, new construction mechanical, plumbing, sprinklers and electrical. The inpatient pharmacy and adjacent spaces shall be remodeled to improve work flow, working conditions, to take into account equipment needs and space requirements, storage needs, support room requirements, offices and other required spaces. It shall be a multi-phased construction. Work shall include replacement of all finishes and furnishings. The dumbwaiter components contained within rooms B7a and B22a shall be completely removed and the space recovered and utilized in the appropriate room accordingly. All work shall be in compliance with all applicable life safety codes, NFPA, NEC, VA Design Guides and all other applicable codes. This solicitation is anticipated to be available on www.fbo.gov on or about March 31, 2010. Requests for solicitation documents made by telephone, fax, or e-mail will not be honored.
