- STATEMMENT OF WORK HOLTER MONITORING SERVICE The vendor will provide patients seen through the Cardiology Section of Medicine Service with appropriate monitors for short and long term cardiac monitoring. This service will include a 24/7 telephone patient hotline for patient's concerns or questions. Typically these will consist of Holter and event monitors. Event monitors can be simple or complex, complex monitors know as ACT. Following the use by the patient, the vendor will provide the Cardiology Section with a report based on the data recorded by the devices. The VA will assume no liability of equipment and the Contractor provides all monitoring accessories. The Contractor response immediately, to the Cardiology providers when clinical criteria established by the Cardiology Section are met. The Contractor will provide IT support for their reporting and will ensure that reports can be passed to CPRS. Reports are completed within 24 hours. The contractor is responsible for all training.
