- The Federal Government is interested in leasing office and related space consisting of approximately 31,306 square feet of rentable space, yielding a minimum of 27,070 ANSI/BOMA Office Area square feet to a maximum of 29,777 ANSI/BOMA Office Area square feet, in the Chicago - O'Hare Submarket, available for use by Military Entrance Processing (MEPS) for personnel, furnishings and equipment. Offered properties must be within the delineated geographical area as follows: North: Central Road, South: Irving Park Road, East: Cumberland Avenue-Touhy Avenue-Greenwood Avenue, West: Arlington Heights Road. Please refer to DOD Facilities Criteria (UFC) 4-010-01, DOD Minimum Antiterrorism Standards or Buildings in order to determine whether said requirements would apply to the proposed space and building. On site parking for 63 vehicles is required with an additional 83 parking spaces within three blocks. Other Requirements include: •- Offered location must be a Class A building •- Located on a primary or major secondary street •- Nearby public transportation •- In close proximity to hotels/motels and restaurants •- Must be contiguous on not more than two floors (one floor preferred) •- Cannot be located in a building where alcoholic beverages are served Lease Term/Occupancy: Twenty (20) years, fifteen (15) firm. The Government reserves the right to amend the delineated area and the terms of the lease. Expressions of interest shall include the following: -Building name, address, associated literature with floor plans demonstrating ability to achieve the minimum requirements. -The expected occupancy date is September 2011. Proposals from brokers or agents must be accompanied by evidence of their authorization to represent the ownership.
