- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION BOILER TESTING This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-38. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) IAW Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13. Submit written quotes on RFQ# BOILERTEST-496ABS-001. In accordance with the Agreement of Defense and Cooperation between the Kingdom of Spain and the United States of America, any contract resulting from this notice/solicitation can only be entered into with companies authorized to carry out these activities in Spain under Spanish law. Companies must meet the requirements established by Spanish legistation for execution of Government works. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541380 (Testing Laboratories). This combined synopsis/solicitation is for the following service: CLIN 0001 - Perform boiler testing in accordance with attached Statement of Work.
