- The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 1 NSN with item descriptions of Control Assembly, Transmission. The FSC of this requirement is 2520. Applicable NAICS is 336350 with small business size standard of 750. An Indefinite Quantity Long-Term Contract with 1 base year and 4 option years, which include EPA adjustments, is anticipated. The total duration base plus option years shall not exceed 5 years. Solicitation will be unrestricted under FAR Part 12—Commercial Item Procedures. The solicitation will be available on March 25, 2010 at https://dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp. Hard copies are not available. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. FOB Destination is required. Inspection/Acceptance requirements will be noted on RFP. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The item under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979.
