Description
SF 330 Architect-Engineer Qualifications Applications are invited from engineering firms to provide professional services for design and construction period services. The work will be to provide professional design services required to convert approximately 27,000 GSF of a73,414 GSF mixed use two floor building into lodging for VA patients and their families located in bldg 240 at the Ft Lawton Army Reserve Center, Seattle WA. The work will include the design of 40 hotel type rooms, lodge lounges and lodging support offices. The first floor will have 13 rooms, lodge lounge and support offices. The second floor will have 27 rooms, lodging common area and lodge support offices. Design disciplines will include structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, architectural, and interior design. The A/E contractor must provide bid-ready design documents 145 calendar days after A/E contract award. The A/E contractor will be responsible for the proper preparation of drawings compatible with the Federal Governments Business Opportunity System (FBO) website (ie. PDF). Evaluation and selection will be based on qualifications stated under FBO Numbered Note 24. The selected firm or organization must have significant experience in lodging renovations. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the credentials of the firm and assigned staff to support the study scope. Special qualifications and selection of firms will place emphasis on design capabilities of firms with previous experience in lodging renovations. The applicable NAICS code is 541310. This acquisition for design services will be a 100% set aside for veteran owned small businesses. This is not a Request for Proposal. A current SF 330 representing and differentiating between the personnel, experience and capabilities of all involved offices, must be included with the application for each proposed consultant's office involved.
