- This pre-solicitation notice is for Mortuary Services in support of the Mortuary Services Officer, Fort Dix, NJ. The award will be a fixed price type requirements contract with a base period and four 12-month option periods. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, facilities and licensed personnel required to complete and perform all services as specified in the Performance Work Statement. Specific tasks include but are not limited to providing professional and restorative services, supplies, and transportation of deceased personnel. Due to the requirement to inspect remains, vendor must be located within a 25 mile radius of Fort Dix, NJ. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 812210, Mortuary Services, size standard of $ 7.0 Million. Prospective Contractors must be a Small Business, as verified on Central Contractor Register (CCR) and Online Representations & Certifications Application (ORCA). The solicitation will be posted on or about 12 March 2010 via Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The due date will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-38. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Internet site, www.ccr.gov, under the appropriate small business category and NAICS.
