Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of any amendments or other pertinent information. This solicitation will be issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) under the solicitation number: F3PF1A0040A001 This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-34, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Change Notice (DCN) 20090115, and Air Force Acquisition Circular (AFAC) 2009-0318. This acquisition is Full and Open under NAICS code 333319. This RFQ contains Three (3) line items. The items, as follows, are on a firm fixed price basis: CLIN 0001: 15 EA Explosion Blast Simulators, Remote Control Firing System, Use of Ready Available Expendable Material (O2 & Propane), Multiple Shot Capability, Ability to Achieve Sound Level of 120 decibels, Safety Factor (no Frag or Heat Hazards) No Pyro, One Man Portable, Minimal HAZMAT Restrictions, No need for Environmental Impact Study, Capability to produce up to 40K Cubic Feet of Smoke for 3 Minutes. (End of clause) AFFARS 5352.201-9101 OMBUDSMAN (AUG 2005) (a) An ombudsman has been appointed to hear and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for this acquisition.
