- VA-261-10-RQ-0113: Due: March 11, 2010 (est) Request for Quote (RFQ) - Repair of leak sensors and associated effort for Underground Diesel Fuel Storage Tanks for VA Palo Alto Health Care System. This is a Combined Synopsis Solicition. The NAICS code is 811310, size standard of $7.0 million applies. Product Service code of J063 applies. This will be a Small Business set aside, awardee must be EPA/State of California/County of Santa Clara licensed firm in order to furnish this service. This is a one-time effort. This is also an EMERGENCY REPAIR, effort must begin immediately. Quotations shall be furnished on an all or nothing basis, partial quotes will be rejected. Quote shall be valid for 60 days from offer due date. Contractor is responsible for submitting all documents required electronically in accordance with the solicitation, including any amendments which will be posted on this website. Solicitation is also subject to availability of funding.NOTE: All offerors must contact Tim Flynn, Engineering VA Palo Alto, to ensure they are in proper compliance with all licensing prior to submitting an offer. M/E UST; remove old secondary containment test boot, furnish and install new secondary containment test boot, furnish and install new high/low brine sensor in annular space, program monitor for new sensor and test alarms, do a retest on the secondary containment SB989 and provide the VA with a copy of the test report, check electrical wiring in annular space, repair as needed as long as the concrete doesn't needs to be removed.If concrete needs to be removed, contact COTR 2. Bldg: 103; provide all safety Equipment per the osha guidelines, remove old sealer from UST collar extensions, grind down fiberglass and install new matting and resin to obtain 100% sealing between extensions and sump, test sump for tightness, provide the VA with a copy of the test report. 3. Bunker UST; obtain permit from Santa Clara County Environmental Health Dept, remove old supply and return lines, furnish and install new bulkhead penetrations at sump and building, furnish and install new APT co-axle supply and return lines, check entire system for proper operation, seal off all other unused penetrations in both sumps,do a retest on the secondary containment SB989 and provide the VA with a copy of the permit and test report. 4. Bldg 50 UST; Obtain permit from Santa Clara County Environmental Health Dept, remove old annular space sensor, furnish and install new high/low brine sensor, furnish as needed, remove cap on fill tube and check flapper valve, remove unnecessary guage and cap off, program monitor for new high/low sensor, check entire system for proper operation, provide the VA with copy of the permit and test report.
