Description

Lake Red Rock is located in Marion County, Iowa, approximately four (4) miles southwest of Pella, Iowa. During the summer of 2008, the Marina Cove at Lake Red Rock suffered damages due to high water events. In an effort to repair damages from high water, and protect the marina, certain repairs to the cove are proposed. The project consists of excavation and mechanical dredging to widen and deepen the cove, construction of earthen terraces and grading of new marina site, placement of excess fill to create temporary concession parking, access stub road, and shoreline stabilization construction. This work will coincide with the fall 2010, 10-foot drawdown of Lake Red Rock. NAICS:237990 Small Business Size Standard: $33.5 Million Unrestricted Procurement Estimated Range: $1-$5 Million It is anticipated that the plans and specifications for this procurement will be available on www.fbo.gov on or about 16 April, 2010. Any contractor wanting the plans and specifications must download them from this website.
