- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR UNDER W912HN-09-D-0011-0003. This is not a solicitation. The Savannah District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers had a requirement for the Renovation at Old Bowley School, Ft Bragg, NC. It is the intent of the Government to modify the existing Task Order under the Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC). The modification will be firm fixed price. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 236220, size standard $33 million. PROJECT INFORMATION: Task Order 0003 is being modified to delete portions of CLIN 00012, Option 9 Repair/ Replace Roof of Wing F Auditorium, rear of Wing F, and Walkway. In the original survey the report did not state that there was asbestos material in the ceiling plaster of Wing F Gym. Subsequent investigations indicated that the ceiling plaster contained asbestos and needed to be abated. Also to include utility upgrades. Additional Criteria: These doors and frames are to be removed. 1. a. A102a and 102b Doors and Frames are to be reused. b. A114, A115, A116 and A118 Doors and Frames are to be reused. c. B104 Doors will be new, frame to be reused. d. B112a, B112b, B115a, B115b, B116a Doors will be but new frames are to be reused. e. C112a, C112b, C115a, C115b, C115c Doors will be new but frames are to be reused. f. D112a, D112b, D115a, D115b, D115c Doors will be new but frames are to be reused. g. E112a, E112b, E115a, E115b, E115c Doors will be new but frames are to be reused. 2. B116b. Door schedule shows frame to remain. This is a new opening. A new frame is required. 2. B116b. This is a new opening, and should receive Wall Type 2 head, jamb and sill details as noted on Sheet A503. 3. C104.. Door schedule shows frame to remain. Floor plan shows changing the door swing. A new frame is required. 3. C104. A new frame is required due to reversal of door swing. 4. D104.. Door schedule shows frame to remain. Floor plan shows changing the door swing. A new frame is required. 4. D104. A new frame is required due to reversal of door swing. 5. E104.. Door schedule shows frame to remain. Floor plan shows changing the door swing. A new frame is required. 5. E104. A new frame is required due to reversal of door swing. 6. F108c. Door schedule calls for a Type 5 GS door. Type 5 represents a double flush door and GS represents glass. Should not the schedule read Type 4 GS or Type 5 HM? Regardless which type is required the doors and frames will be hollow metal since there is no aluminum door and frame specification. Also this door receives hardware set 007. 6. F108 C. Door should be a Type 5 WD door, (not GS as noted on Door Schedule) with HM Frame. Hardware set to be Type 007, but omitting weather stripping, threshold, and sill sweep. 7. F109b, F110a, F110b. Door Schedule shows these openings as single door openings while the floor plans show them as double door openings. 7. F109b, F110a, F110b. These doors should be Type 5 (Pr 3'-0" x 7'-0") as noted on Door Schedule. 8. F112a. Door schedule indicates a 4'0 x 7'0 Type 5 STC Door. Type 5 represents a double door. Should the schedule read a 4'0 x 7'0 Type 1 STC? 8. F112a. Door should be a 4'-0" x 7'-0" Type 1 STC Door, not Type 5 as shown on Door Schedule. 9. F112b. Door schedule indicates a 3'0 x 7'0 Type 5 STC Door. Type 5 represents a double door. Should the schedule read a 3'0 x 7'0 Type 1 STC? 9. F112b. Door should be a 3'-0" x 7'-0" Type 1 STC Door, not Type 5 as shown on Door Schedule. For Doors F112b and F114, Contractor to frame opening as appropriate given existing conditions. 10. F114, F115 and F117. Door schedule indicates a 3'0 x 7'0 Type 5 Door. Type 5 represents a double door. Should the schedule read a 3'0 x 7'0 Type 1 Door? 10. F114, F115, F117. Doors should be 3'-0" x 7'-0" Type 1 STC Doors, not Type 5 as shown on Door Schedule. 11. F116. Door schedule shows this frame to remain. This is a new opening. A new frame is required. 11. F116. This is a new opening, and should receive Wall Type 2 head, jamb and sill details as noted on Sheet A503. 12. F116. Door schedule indicates a 6'0 x 7'0 Type 5 GS Door. Type 5 represents a flush hm door not glass. Should the schedule read a 6'0 x 7'0 Type 4 GS door? 12. F116. Door to be Type 4 GS. 13. F205, F207, F209a and F209b. Door schedule indicates a 3'0 x 7'0 Type 3 STC door. Type 3 represents a ½ glass door. Should the schedule read 3'0 x 7'0 Type 1 STC door? Is glass needed at these doors? They are mechanical room doors. Doors F205, F207 and F209a are being covered up with acoustical wall panels per Plate A204-F-Mezzanine. 13. F205, F207, F209a and F209b. These doors should be 3'-0" x 7'-0" Type 1 STC Doors with no glass. 14. F210. Door schedule shows a 3'0 x 7'0 Type 3 Door. Type 3 represents a ½ glass door. This is a storage room. Is glass required? Should the schedule read Type 1 Door? 14. F210. Door should be 3'-0" x 7'-0" Type 1 STC Doors with no glass. 15. H104. Door schedule shows frame to remain. Floor plan shows changing the door swing. A new frame is required. 15. H104. A new frame is required due to reversal of door swing. 16. The door schedule shows several doors as being undercut. The normal undercut is 5/8". Is this adequate or do you prefer ¾" undercut? 16. Door undercut of 5/8" is acceptable.
