- Description
- -MRI compatible dynamic multi-modality heart phantom/DHP02 -Transport case A dynamic cardiac phantom is needed to provide technical evaluation of the CT/MR scanner and development/validation of new technology. The phantom must be capable of reproducing the motion of the left and right ventricle as realistic as possible. The material chosen to develop the phantom must be CT/MR compatible as well as having the CT/MR properties of tissue necessary to achieve similar attenuation/relaxation properties required to obtain a signal in vivo. In addition, the material must be compliant and capable of producing reproducible motion. Furthermore, the phantom should be able to accept external ECG signal to synchronize the timing of the contractions. A coronary artery model and user-friendly software interface for the control of motion and ECG is a significant plus.
