Must have some research knowledge of curr ent CCMD programs and areas of study such as Sickle Cell Dis ease, HIV Infection, Sepsis, Anthrax, Genomics, Pneumocystis Pneumonia, and Respiratory Therapy in order to develop and edit these written materials. Contractor must display a hig h degree of writing and editing skills in reporting and inte rpreting the results of complex biomedical research. Must h ave an in-depth knowledge of high profile research periodica ls such as The New England Journal of Medicine, the Journal of Infectious Diseases, Journal of American Medical Associat ion, and Critical Care in order to determine whether contrib utions submitted for publication fall within the scope and p urpose of the periodical. Must be responsible for creating a nd maintaining the departmental website. Contractor must ha ve the ability to modify different research products into ef fective graphic presentations, i.e., photo images, gel elect rophoresis, and 3 dimensional charts. Contractor must have a knowledge of the policies, programs, and operations of CCM D, CC, NIH, USPHS, and DHHS. Contractor MUST HAVE PREVIOUS W EBSITE DESIGN EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE of Clinical Center po licies regarding approved website entries from the CC Commun ications Dept. Computer graphics skills are also required. Contractor shall provide services Monday through Friday duri ng normal business hours, 20-30 hours per week. One full da y on the NIH campus.
