- This action is being procured as part of the American Recovery and Re-Investment Act (ARRA) of 2009. All questions rear regarding this SYNOPSIS should be submitted in writing to the following e-mail address: farrell.howard@conus.army.mil. This acquisition shall be competed as a total small business set-aside. THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTIFICATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR OFFERS. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center, Fort Bragg, NC, intends to issue a solicitation to procure services to repair/replace failed and failing mechanical piping/equipment. The work will consist of demolition and replacement of all plumbing under the building and up to fixture and equipment connections within the facility. The contractor will furnish all transportation, labor and material to accomplish the work. All work will be performed at Fort Bragg, NC. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the small business size standard is $33.5M. The Classification Code of RECOVERY is Z111. This action will be conducted as with FAR Part 14, Invitation for Bid (IFB). The Government anticipates issuing IFB W91247-10-B-0009, on or around 24 March 2010. The IFB and amendments, if applicable will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Potential bidders are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package and any amendments. It is a requirement that all contractors doing business with the Department of Defense be registered with Central Contracting Registry (CCR) per FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration. The website may be accessed on the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov.
