Description

RECOVERY, Rehabilitate MVT Bridge No. 7, GWMP, PMIS #107642B, TAS 14 1035 The work of this contract consists of providing equipment, materials, supervision and personnel to rehabilitate Mount Vernon Trail (MVT) Bridge No. 7. The work of this contract is located at MVT Bridge No. 7, on the east side of the George Washington Memorial Parkway between Vernon View Drive (State RT. 629) and River Farm Drive. Work includes but is not limited to complete replacement of decking, stringers and headers, the installation of the standard handrails, and cleaning debris from the culvert outlet channel. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 237310. The project magnitude is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. This project is being solicited and awarded in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656. (Federal Acquisition Regulation 19.10) Accordingly, it is open to all small and large responsible offerors. However, a HUBZone small business price evaluation factor may apply. This project will be funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and is subject to the reporting requirements of the Act. The solicitation with specifications, drawings, and wage rates will be posted to the websites http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about 3/23/2010 TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. No hard copies of the solicitation package will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package you must download it from http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Contractors must register on the website in order to retrieve copies of the solicitation and any possible amendments. Instructions are contained on the website for downloading solicitation and attachments. It is the responsibility of all interested contractors to acknowledge ALL amendments to the solicitation.
