Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. This is not a solicitation announcement. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. The U.S. Capitol Visitor Center is seeking sources that may be capable of providing multi-use headsets (headphones) in conjunction with Assisted Listening Devices, which are used to conduct guided tours of the U.S. Capitol. The headsets must meet the following specifications: •Color: Solid Black •2.5 mm connection plug •24” black cord connected to only one side of the headphone (attached to one earpiece) •Plastic Adjustable headband (structure must be designed for reuse; disposable headphones will not suffice) •Weight: minimum of 1.5 oz but no more than 5 oz •Black foam ear pads •No Switches or adapters •Impedence: 32+ Ohms •Frequency Response: minimum 18-20,000 Hz •Speaker driver: a 27 Ferrite magnet or a 40mm Cobalt magnet type are acceptable •Right (R) and Left (L) to indicate right and left earpiece •Preference: stereo technology Contractors with the capability of providing supplies described above are invited to submit, in writing, sufficient information which demonstrates their ability to fulfill the requirements. Information should include the following: (1) Name of vendor; (2) DUNS Number; (3) Business Size; (4) Contact Information; (5) Description of the product meeting this requirement. Businesses should submit an electronic copy of the requested information to Carmelita E. Wesley, at cwesle@aoc.gov no later than 5:00 P.M., EST, March 12, 2010. No feedback or evaluations will be provided regarding the information provided. Must comply with The Buy American Act, Section 508 and ADA. All respondents must be registered in the Central Contractor’s Registration (CCR) file, which may be accomplished via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov.
