Description

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Quality Enterprise Support Services (QESS) for the Enterprise Management Decision Support (EMDS) system as defined in this Performance Wok Statement except as Specified in section C-3 as government furnished property and services at the Pentagon and Pentagon Satellite offices. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract.EMDS is an Army enterprise application that is used to automate the Force Management Office Force Validation Committee (FVC) process. The FVC is an element of DAMO-FM, which conducts a cross-functional assessment of select Army units on a monthly basis. This assessment offers current and predictive analysis based on authoritative sources of information for personnel, equipment, training, and stationing readiness at all levels. The EMDS enterprise application allows the FVC to review more units in a shorter period of time, which allows for more timely information to be presented before the Vice Chief of Staff Army (VCSA) at the monthly Army Synchronization Meeting (ASM). Additionally, EMDS provides a common operating picture of Army units before deployment, thereby increasing the likelihood of accuracy of unit readiness assessments.
