- This notice is issued by the NASA/GSFC to post a Request for Information (RFI) andStatement of Work via the internet, and solicit responses from interested parties. Thisdocument is for information and planning purposes and to allow industry the opportunityto verify reasonableness and feasibility of the requirement, as well as promotecompetition. Prospective offerors are invited to electronically submit capabilitystatements and all comments to: Suzanne Shaw at Teresa.S.Shaw@nasa.gov. When responding,reference NNG10123456L.NASA is seeking capabilities from large businesses, as well as from small, smalldisadvantaged, 8(a), HUBzone, woman-owned, veteran-owned, service disabled veteran-owned,and/or Historically Black Colleges and Universities for the purpose of determining theappropriate level of competition for the Mission Assurance Services contract (MASC). Responses shall be limited to ten (10) pages or less and shall also include the followinginformation: Name and address of firm, size of business, average annual revenue for pastthree (3) years and number of employees, ownership, business category as described above;number of years in business; affiliate information: parent company, joint venturepartners, potential teaming partners, prime contractor (if potential sub) orsubcontractors (if potential prime); and point of contact-position, address and phonenumber. NASA is also seeking potential prime contractor feedback related tosubcontractng opportunities and the goals associated with the small business categorieslisted above in the event that this requirement is solicited on an unrestricted basis.This RFI is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will theGovernment pay for the information submitted in response. Respondents will not benotified of the results.An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note 'B'.The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over theInternet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may beaccessed using a WWW browser application.
