- Description
- Requirement: The General Services Administration currently occupies 23,269 rentable square feet of office space in Woodlawn, MD. The Government intends to exercise a five (5) year renewal option at the current location. The Government will consider alternate locations if economically advantageous to the Government and if all space requirements can be met. Factors used in the evaluation include costs of all tenant improvements, the physical move, move coordination, telecommunication costs, security costs, etc. The impact of the agency's mission will also be assessed. Location: All offered property must be located within the following delineated area: A one-mile radius of the CMS Headquarters located at 7500 Security Boulevard, Baltimore, Maryland 21244 Lease Term: The lease term will be for five (5) years. Special Requirements: 1) Potential space must have the capacity to support a 3000 square foot file storage area requiring a 125 lbs/ square foot live load floor rating 2) Potential space must meet Government requirements for GSA Life and Fire Safety Standards and Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards (ABAAS) Requirements. Expressions of Interest: Expressions of interest shall be submitted by March 19, 2010 and include the following: 1. Building Name and Address; 2. Description of offered space including available square feet, floor location, and rental rate per square foot; 3. Common Area factor; 4. Owner's and Authorized Agents: submissions by other than the owner of a property must be accompanied by a letter granting permission to make a general offering of the space. Please note that this is request for expressions of interest not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred as a result of this advertisement.
