- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice for services to be procured per the procedures of FAR 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items), and 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures). The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) Contracting Office has a requirement for the production of four 7-10 minute video to be used in a medical study. The videos will contain re-enactments of a scripted medical encounter in which either a Caucasian or African American doctor discusses lifestyle, diet, and treatment recommendations with either a Caucasian or African American patient who has diabetes. This solicitation replaces Solicitation No. VA-244-10-RQ-0130. Project Magnitude: Less than $25,000. The solicitation and any attachments or subsequent amendments will be available on or about March 5, 2010 on www.fbo.gov. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments from the website. Quotations will be due by March 19, 2010 by 4:00p.m E.S.T. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued, and telephone and faxed requests for the solicitation will not be honored. Point of contact is Brian Vasbinder at brian.vasbinder@va.gov. This is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). All SDVOSB's may submit a quote, which will be considered by the agency. If your firm is not legally designated as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, you are not eligible to quote on this project. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 512110, Motion Picture and Video Production and has a size standard of $29.5 million. The SDVOSB must be small under the relevant North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code and MUST be registered in the following websites: http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov, http://ccr.gov, and http://orca.bpn.gov to be eligible for award.
