- Description of Services: The Contractor shall provide IT support services for the Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) systems that support ONR Headquarters in Arlington, Virginia (approximately 1,100 users); as well as ONR field locations in Boston, Atlanta, Seattle, San Diego, and Chicago (approximately 90 field location users); and ONR Global (ONRG - approximately 35 users) in Singapore, London, Tokyo, Santiago, and Hawaii, as required. The scope of this Contract is to provide services for program management, business process improvement, and operational support services to ONR as it further develops its emerging business processes supported by state-of-the-art information technologies. The goal is to ensure full exploitation of those processes and technologies and to ensure that business processes are continually reviewed to identify where improvement opportunities exist. ONR partially operates within the Navy and Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) environment, using its Seat Management capabilities for PCs, phones, and printers, while preparing itself for a transition from its legacy infrastructure to Navy's Next Generation (nGEN) and Navy ERP implementation--currently scheduled for 2012.
