- Description
- BAA document The DHS S&T mission is to "support basic and applied homeland security research to promote revolutionary changes in technologies; advance the development, testing and evaluation, and deployment of critical homeland security technologies; and accelerate the prototyping and deployment of technologies that would address homeland security vulnerabilities." Through this BAA, Homeland Security Advanced Research Projects Agency (HSARPA) is seeking to accelerate advances in miniaturized biological sensing (e.g. laboratories on a chip) with integration into common appliances with communications capability for large scale multi-detector networks.
