- RECOVERY - Factory Butte Imporvements-LDDFR0490000. This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to award a single, firm-fixed price contract to furnish labor, equipment, supplies, materials, and transportation needed to construct a new entrance road and 4 new parking facilities along with a 24 foot ATV loading ramp and identification sign at the BLM Factory Butte Recreation Site near Hanksville Utah, located in Wayne County, Utah. No site visit is scheduled. For project site questions, please contact Dave Barfuss, COR at (435) 896-1525 or david_barfuss@blm.gov. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 237310, with a size standard of $33.5M. Project price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Performance time is 45 calendar days, estimated to begin June 1, 2010. This procurement shall be set aside for Total Small Business. Competition limited to eligible Small Business concerns. In accordance with FAR 28.102-1, Payment Protection is required for contracts greater than $30,000, prior to issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This solicitation will be posted electronically at www.fedconnect.net on or about March 12, 2010. To obtain the solicitation and/or amendments/updates for this project, contractors shall register and download from FedConnect (https://www.fedconnect.net). This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract. These reports will be made available to the public.
